What's new in SAP Learning Hub analytics dashboard

During the retirement process of selected SAP certifications, learners holding the respective active certificate and a compliant Universal ID are granted the designated successor certification. To ensure accurate reporting of the certificates awarded through certification migrations, a new Test Type value was introduced: 

• “Transition”: Certification migration (no exam)

Transition records do not consume certification exam attempts and are therefore not included in exam-related measures. However, certificates awarded through the migration process are included in Valid Certificates and Certified Learners measures.

Transitioned certificates are now included in the Valid Certificates export and in the default Test Type filter selection within the Certifications view of the Explore and Export Data section.

A major update of the SAP Learning Hub analytics dashboard was released on September 21, 2026. The new version introduces several enhancements designed to improve the overall user experience, dashboard performance and data quality. As part of these changes, some existing functionality and navigation is updated.

Key changes to be aware of:

• Consistent learner information across Explore and Export Data views
  Learner details are now aligned across the different Explore and Export Data views, providing a more consistent reporting experience. As a result, learner attributes such as:
  • Custom fields synchronized with the User and license management tool
  • License: Latest License Status, License Assignment Date, and License End Date
  • Universal ID: Learner Universal ID, Compliant UID and Compliant UID Issues
  • SAP User: Learner Created Date, S-user Deletion Date, S-user Status and Company of the S-user
  are now available more consistently across learning activities and certification reporting views.

As license-related information such as Latest License Status, License Assignment Date, and License End Date is now available in certification and learning activities reporting, it is easier to identify learners with upcoming Stay Certified due dates who require an active Learning Hub license.

Additional Universal ID compliance information is now available, helping learning managers identify the specific reason why a learner's Universal ID is not compliant and take corrective action more efficiently.

• Enhanced Explore & Export Data experience
  The Explore and Export Data section now uses the SAP Analytics Cloud Object Builder for table configuration.
  This enhancement allows you to:
  • Search and navigate dimensions and measures more easily
  • Easier dimension and measure selection and reorder
  • Create custom calculations, show/hide totals and select dimension properties
  • Configure display settings directly within the Object Builder and the table
  • Restore the original view using the new Default Table button
  The enhanced table configuration capabilities make it easier to create personalized reporting views. Combined with bookmarks, you can save customized report layouts and return to them quickly.

• Accessibility improvements
  The dashboard now supports both Light Theme and Dark Theme, allowing users to select the appearance that best fits their accessibility and usability needs. The theme is synchronized with the settings applied in the user profile.

• Activities aligned with entitlement periods
  Learning activities are now precisely evaluated against the relevant contract and license validity periods, and, where applicable, S-user creation and deletion dates.
  Activity and achievement reporting are aligned with each learner's entitlement period, ensuring learning consumption is aligned with SAP Learning Hub engagement. Activities outside the eligible reporting period are excluded from activity-related reporting.

Potential KPI impact:
You may notice changes in metrics compared to the previous dashboard version depending on the contract and license history. These differences are expected and reflect the enhanced reporting logic.

• Active Learners for historical periods
• Estimated Hours across learning types and Average estimated hours
• Learner populations related to learning activity and license assignment counts may differ for historical periods.

• Legacy Stay Current records
  Historical Stay Current records related to the legacy certification program have been cleansed to improve certification reporting accuracy.
  Potential KPI impact
  The change affects certification metrics for periods prior to March 31, 2025:
  • Exam Attempts
  • Pass Rate
    
  There is no impact on:
  • Valid Certificates
  • Certified Learners

• Universal ID export enhancements
  The export format and scope for learners without Universal ID has been improved.
  Additional Universal ID fields are now available, including:
  • Learner Universal ID
  • Compliant UID
  • Compliant UID Issues
  This enables learning managers to more easily identify learners with missing or non-compliant Universal IDs and understand the reason for the issue, helping accelerate remediation activities and support certification and Stay Certified readiness initiatives.

• Existing bookmarks are no longer supported
  Due to the underlying technical changes, bookmarks created in the previous dashboard version are not compatible with the new version. If you relied on bookmarked reports or personalized dashboard views, you will need to recreate them using the new dashboard.
